About Will Schneider
Philosophy
Music can be an engaging, fulfilling pursuit at any age. My goal is to help every student build both skill and genuine appreciation for piano and music through sight-reading, ear training, technique, theory, history, composition, and improvisation.
Background
- Studied piano from a young age under Veronica Vitale, Robin Knutson (classical), and Bill Erikson (jazz/improvisation)
- Studied under Professor Anna Poklewski at De Anza College and Dr. Gwendolyn Mok at San Jose State University
- Published compositions with Gentry and Santa Barbara Publishing
- Master of Music, San Jose State University
Teaching approach
I’m honored to guide you or your child through the exploration of music. My focus is always on making lessons productive, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable — building a foundation that lasts well beyond the lesson itself.
